This project from the Durrell Institute of Education and Ecology (DICE) carried out deforestation analysis of Kerinci Seblat National Park, using ground surveys and satellite imagery to examine the large spatial scale edge effects (LSSEE). Increased forest conversion and degradation has produced more exposed edge due to fragmentation which now causes considerable concern in tropical forest and top predator conservation.
