Banham Zoo Anniversary Ball

By 4th December 2018News

Throughout the fundraising year there have been many fun ways for zoo visitors, staff and supporters to raise funds for WildCats Conservation Alliance.   The most recent, and possibly the most glittering event, Banham Zoo‘s Anniversary Ball was held recently and raised over £18,000. It looks like they had a brilliant time!

A huge thank you to all the Zoological Society of East Anglia team at Banham, who have been fundraising all year.  As a major feature of the zoo’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, the commitment was made to raising funds and awareness for the conservation of two key species; tigers and rhinos. Funds will be used to support anti-poaching and wildlife crime investigations in Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra.
