WildCats strategic direction

WildCats Strategic DirectionThis week WildCats hosted Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation (DWF) for a series of meetings with the Zoological Society of London to discuss amongst other things the WildCats strategic direction for the next five years. Making sure our administration is sound is key to get the most from our own operational grant but so too is our conservation focus and our long term aims to ensure donor money is spent effectively. Good work was achieved – still more to do, but thank you to everyone who took part and everyone involved in making the visit a success. Watch this space for more news as the WildCats strategy for the next five years develops.

Since 2007 Dreamworld has funded operational costs, first for 21st Century Tiger and now for WildCats Conservation Alliance. In 2012 DWF signed a formal MOU with ZSL for a wider stake in the initiative. DWF has donated over £500,000 directly to wild tiger and Amur leopard projects and a further £500,000 in operational funding making them one of the most significant zoo donors to conservation in the world.
