The Swiss Walter Zoo is the mountain top home to Amur tigers and Amur leopards – ambassador animals for their wild relatives. Visitors to the zoo pay a voluntary nature conservation Swiss franc to support conservation efforts.

WildCats Conservation is delighted to have recently received CHF30,000 (£23,321) for Amur leopard and Amur tiger conservation. This money will be put towards the essential camera trap monitoring activities in the Russian Far East and northeastern China in 2022 in addition to supporting the antipoaching actions of rangers across five Protected Areas.

You too can help fund this work by donating to WildCats.

Thank you!
