Today we are offering a two-handed thanks to Memphis Zoo and the Memphis Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) for donations to Amur leopard conservation.
Memphis Zoo is a relatively new and very welcome contributor to the WildCats’ zoo family of donors and home to Sputnik, a young Amur leopard “ambassador for the wild” and part of the international conservation breeding program.
The Memphis Chapter of the AAZK organised the Amur leopard virtual 5k run for the first time this year and raised over $700. We hope that this can become an annual fundraising event. Huge thank you to the organisers and managing this during a challenging time.
