Wilhelma Zoo saves the day!

By 25th January 2021News

Top supporter Wilhelma Zoo in Stuttgart Germany, came to the rescue in early January with a donation of €16,500 to help conserve wild Sumatran tigers in Kerinci Seblat National Park.

This enabled us to also free up some funds to ensure that projects in Nepal and Thailand will also receive grants in 2021.  With COVID-19 restrictions closing many of our supporter zoos, there was a worry that our grants would have to be cut by up to 20%. Thanks to Wilhelma Zoo we were able to avoid these drastic cuts.

In 2020 Wilhelma also donated €10,000 and the zoos total now stands at an incredible €86,900.
