Amur leopard fun run

By 17th May 2021News

Huge thanks to all the people (and their dogs!) that took part in the Second Annual Amur Leopard fun run.

This virtual event, where the participants could run anytime during the 2-week slot in April, was organised by a wonderful team at the American Association of Zoo Keepers Memphis chapter for anyone wanting to support Amur leopard conservation. All participants of the Amur leopard fun run received a custom t-shirt and bib and medals were issued to all.

All money raised comes to WildCats Conservation Alliance to support current projects in the Russian Far East and northeast China. The numbers of Amur leopards on both the Russian and Chinese side of the border are continuing to increase as a result of strong conservation efforts by the National Parks in collaboration with local communities and conservation organisations working in the region.
