Thank you Shepreth Wildlife Park

By 5th August 2019News

Shepreth Wildlife Park is a small zoo with a big heart.  This year, with Amba gone but not forgotten, this Tiger Day celebrated what would have been her 21st birthday. Over the past 14 years of constant support for wild tiger conservation, Shepreth have donated close to £50,000, first directly from the Park and more lately through the Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity. We’d like to say a huge thank you to the visitors and the staff of this park for the latest donation.

Donations from Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity will be directed towards the FFI coordinated Kerinci Seblat Tiger Protection and Conservation Units.

Thanks also goes to Wildlife Photographer Tal Chohan, for giving the money from sale of his prints on the day directly to WildCats Conservation Alliance.   Visitors also learnt how his India expeditions to see tigers in the wild, inspired him to promote their conservation.   You can see many of Tal Chohan’s other images throughout this website.
