Zoos and wildlife parks are often the first points of contact for people to experience wildlife and their inspiring zookeepers engage us with tales and facts. Zookeepers are passionate about the animals in their care and about the conservation that protects the species in the wild.
We have two groups of inspiring zookeepers that we would like to thank today:
The Staten Island chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) for raising $808 for Amur leopard conservation, and, the Association of British and Irish Wild Animal Keepers (ABWAK) for its donation of £500 to wild tiger conservation.
