Korkeasaari Zoo funds the conservation of Amur leopards and tigers for the 16th year!
WildCats Conservation Alliance has just received an incredibly generous donation from Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki.
Despite the impacts of COVID on visitor numbers in zoos around the world, Korkeasaari is still prioritising conservation this year with a generous grant of £63,502 for the conservation of Amur tigers and leopards.
In total, they have granted £498,707 for conservation for Amur tiger and leopards since 2006 making them the second-largest donor after Dreamworld Wildlife Foundation.
The WildCats team are delighted to have been notified of the grant for 2022. Thank you Korkeasaari!
